Sherry L. Hall, CSM, CSPO
Technology-based media fascinated
Sherry early in her career when she worked as a marketing and public relations
manager for a Chicago-based company that produced broadcast commercials shot on
video and film, infomercials, television shows, corporate and education interactive
videos, and pioneer 3D animation projects.
A few years later, Sherry discovered
AOL and began applying her writing skills by weaving fanciful stories for her
virtual “buddies”. She was also an early subscriber of Internet Relay Chat (IRC),
an open protocol using TCP, for online games.
Sherry then transitioned to the health
care industry, becoming a marketing and business development director. She
continued on this path for the next 15 years, working for several
Fortune-listed health care providers. She interfaced with health care software
developers as they created Beta platforms, which were capable of tracking and
trending consumer demographics and market data.
With continuous advancements being made
in clinical software and health care data analytics, Sherry refined her skills
in market analysis, feasibility, predictive modeling and more. She also secured
contracts for health care software solutions, and trained both clients and
internal marketing teams on the technology. As software functionality expanded,
so did Sherry’s role as she worked with several providers of today’s Electronic
Health Record (EHR) systems in their early years of development.
In her spare time, Sherry began
consulting with her health care center clients, which served as the inspiration
for forming her own company. She was eager to apply her skills and education to
address her growing attraction to new technology and innovation, which led her
to incorporate her first company, Pulse Point Marketing.
Interested in learning more about Agile
methodologies used by software developers, Sherry became a Certified
ScrumMaster (CSM) and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). She is working
toward becoming a Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner
(PMI-ACP). A graduate of the University of Louisville, Sherry earned a B.A.S.
in Communications and an A.A.S. in Interior Design.
Sherry is dynamic, engaging, highly
organized, inquisitive, equally analytical and creative, and attentive to the
needs of her clients.
